NMAT by GMAC

Overview

NMAT by GMAC is a computer-adaptive MBA entrance test administered by the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC). It runs in a multi-week testing window rather than on a single day, and you choose your own slot and test centre.

What NMAT is used for

• B-school admission: GMAC says NMAT is trusted by 58+ B-schools offering MBA and specialised programmes.
• Three attempts: up to three attempts are allowed within the testing year.
• No negative marking: wrong answers are not penalised.

2026 testing window

Registration runs 20 August to 10 October 2026, scheduling until 22 October 2026, and exam delivery from 2 November to 20 December 2026. The exam gives equal weightage to all sections, lets you choose section order, shows an instant score preview and issues the official scorecard within 48 hours. Test centres are available in 70+ Indian cities.

Syllabus
