The Indian Institute of Health Management Research (IIHMR) was founded in Jaipur in 1984 and was granted university status by the Government of Rajasthan in 2014 as IIHMR University, located on Prabhu Dayal Marg near Sanganer Airport.

IIHMR University is a private university focused on health management. Its flagship programme is the two-year MBA (Hospital and Health Management), offered since 1996, alongside MBA programmes in Pharmaceutical Management, Healthcare Analytics and Development Management.
