Overview
MBA (Master of Business Administration) and PGDM (Post Graduate Diploma in Management) are the two most common two-year postgraduate management programmes in India. MBA is a university degree, while PGDM is a diploma awarded by autonomous institutes (including the IIMs, which award their own PGP under the IIM Act). Both are widely accepted as equivalent by employers.
