Overview
The Department of Management Studies (DMS), IIT Delhi was created in 1993 through an amendment to IIT Delhi’s statutes, building on management education activity at the institute that dates back to the 1960s. The department launched its MBA programmes in 1997.
DMS is part of IIT Delhi, an Institute of National Importance, and offers the two-year full-time MBA and the two-year MBA (Telecommunication Systems Management), along with executive programmes and a PhD. IIT Delhi was ranked 4 in the NIRF 2025 Management rankings.
