Overview

Vivekanand Education Society’s Institute of Technology (VESIT) was established in 1984 at the Hashu Advani Memorial Complex in Collector’s Colony, Chembur (East), in Mumbai’s eastern suburbs. It is part of a larger VES campus that also houses pharmacy and management institutions, and it is well connected by Chembur station on the Harbour line and by the Eastern Express Highway.

VESIT is an autonomous institute affiliated to the University of Mumbai, with autonomy granted by the UGC in 2023; it is AICTE-approved and has NBA-accredited programmes. B.E. branches include Computer Engineering, Information Technology, AI & Data Science, Electronics & Computer Science, Electronics & Telecommunication and Automation & Robotics, and the institute also runs M.Tech and MCA programmes. Hostel accommodation is available on the VES campus.

Eligibility

Class 12 (HSC) with Physics and Mathematics plus Chemistry or another permitted subject, meeting Maharashtra CAP minimum marks, and a valid MHT CET score (Maharashtra seats) or JEE Main score (All-India seats).
