Thakur College of Engineering and Technology (TCET) was set up in 2001 and is located on the Thakur Educational Campus at Thakur Village, Kandivali East, in Mumbai’s northern suburbs. Its address is Shyamnarayan Thakur Marg, and the college has run as a self-financing Hindi linguistic minority institution since it began. Over two decades it has grown from a set of core engineering branches into a broad mix of computing and emerging-technology programmes, making it one of the larger private engineering colleges in suburban Mumbai.

TCET is a private autonomous college affiliated to the University of Mumbai, approved by AICTE, with NAAC ‘A’ accreditation and NBA accreditation for several programmes. B.E./B.Tech branches include Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics & Telecommunication, Electronics & Computer Science, Mechanical, Civil, AI & Data Science, AI & Machine Learning, CSE (IoT), Computer Science (Cyber Security) and Mechanical & Mechatronics. Eligibility

Passed HSC / Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics compulsory plus Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Computer Science or a technical vocational subject, with at least 45% in these subjects (40% for eligible reserved categories from Maharashtra), and a non-zero MHT CET score or, for All India seats, a JEE Main score.
