Overview

K J Somaiya School of Engineering (KJSSE), long known as K. J. Somaiya College of Engineering (KJSCE), was established in 1983 on the Somaiya Vidyavihar campus in Vidyavihar (East), central Mumbai. The large, green campus is close to Vidyavihar station on the Central line and shares its facilities with other Somaiya schools covering management, science, humanities and more, giving engineering students a broad university setting.

KJSSE is a constituent school of Somaiya Vidyavihar University, a UGC-approved self-financed private university that holds NAAC Grade A. B.Tech programmes include Computer Engineering, Information Technology, AI & Data Science, Electronics & Telecommunication, Robotics & Artificial Intelligence, Mechanical and Civil Engineering, among others, with honours and minor options. M.Tech and PhD programmes are also offered, and the campus has hostel accommodation.

Admission runs through Somaiya Vidyavihar University’s own B.Tech process, not the State CAP; it accepts JEE Main and MHT CET scores as well as CUET UG, PERA CET and SAT.
