Overview
Thadomal Shahani Engineering College (TSEC) was established in 1983 in Bandra (West), in Mumbai’s western suburbs, and is among the oldest private engineering colleges in the city. The campus sits on P. G. Kher Marg (32nd Road) in the TPS-III area, a short ride from Bandra and Khar Road stations on the Western line, surrounded by one of Mumbai’s busiest residential and commercial neighbourhoods.
TSEC is a private unaided college that is now a constituent college of HSNC University, Mumbai, and holds NBA accreditation (valid to June 2028) for Computer, Information Technology, Electronics & Telecommunication and Chemical Engineering. Its B.E. branches are Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence & Data Science, Electronics & Telecommunication and Chemical Engineering. The college does not advertise an on-campus hostel, so outstation students usually arrange accommodation nearby.
