Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University) College of Engineering, Pune, often shortened to BVUCOE, was established in 1983. It stands on the Bharati Vidyapeeth campus at Dhankawadi, on the Pune–Satara Road in south Pune, which it shares with several other Bharati Vidyapeeth institutions. It is a different college from Bharati Vidyapeeth’s College of Engineering in Delhi, which follows Delhi’s admission system.

The college is a constituent of Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), which holds an A++ grade from NAAC (fourth cycle, 2024); its B.Tech programmes have been NBA accredited over four cycles, and it is AICTE recognised. It is in the NIRF 2025 Engineering 151–200 band. B.Tech branches include Computer, Information Technology, Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, Robotics & Automation and AI & Machine Learning. Hostels are available.

Admission is through the university’s own Bharati Vidyapeeth CET (BVP CET), an online all-India entrance test; the college states that B.Tech seats are not filled through MHT CET, JEE Main or other state CETs.
