Overview
The Indian Institute of Crafts and Design (IICD) was set up in Jaipur in 1995 to train designers who work with India’s craft traditions. Its campus is in the Jhalana Institutional Area.
IICD’s degree programmes are affiliated to Vishwakarma Skills University, Jaipur. It offers B.Des and M.Des in six specialisations: hard material, soft material, fired material, fashion clothing, jewellery design and crafts communication. It also runs an M.Voc programme.
