Overview

JSPM’s Rajarshi Shahu College of Engineering (RSCOE) was founded in 2001 at Ashok Nagar, Tathawade, on the western side of Pimpri-Chinchwad. The campus is close to the Mumbai–Bengaluru highway near Wakad and a short drive from the Hinjewadi IT park, which puts students near one of Pune’s biggest clusters of technology companies as well as the city’s growing western suburbs.

RSCOE is a private autonomous institute affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU), autonomous since 2019-20 and approved by AICTE. It holds a NAAC ‘A’ grade and NBA accreditation for its undergraduate programmes, and in NIRF 2025 it is placed in the Engineering rank band 151–200. B.Tech branches cover Computer, IT, E&TC, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil and Automation & Robotics, with M.Tech, MBA, MCA, BCA and Ph.D. options; girls’ and boys’ hostels are on campus.

Admission to the first year of B.Tech is on MHT CET merit through the State CET Cell’s CAP rounds, and All-India seats can be claimed with JEE Main scores. Eligibility

Class 12 (HSC) with Physics and Mathematics plus Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Computer Science or a technical vocational subject, meeting the Maharashtra CET Cell minimum aggregate, and a valid MHT CET (PCM) or JEE Main Paper 1 score.
