Overview

Christ (Deemed to be University) runs its engineering and architecture programmes at its Kengeri Campus, a 78.5-acre green campus at Kanmanike, Kumbalgodu, on Mysore Road in south-west Bangalore. The campus opened in 2009; Christ has been a deemed-to-be university since 2008.

Christ awards its own degrees and is not affiliated to VTU. The university holds an A+ grade from NAAC and was ranked 76th in the NIRF 2025 Engineering rankings. The Kengeri Campus offers B.Tech, M.Tech and B.Arch, with hostels for boys and girls. Christ is known for its structured academic culture and attendance rules — worth knowing before you apply.
