Overview

The Faculty of Engineering & Technology (FET) of JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) is located on the university’s 350-acre JAIN Global Campus at Jakkasandra, on Kanakapura Main Road (Ramanagara district), about an hour from central Bangalore. The engineering faculty began in 2005, and Jain became a deemed-to-be university in 2008.

As a deemed university, JAIN awards its own B.Tech and M.Tech degrees and is not affiliated to VTU. The university holds an A+ grade from NAAC and was ranked 84th in the NIRF 2025 Engineering rankings. The campus is fully residential, with hostels for boys and girls.

B.Tech admission is mainly through the university’s own JET (Jain Entrance Test), with seats also through JEE Main, COMEDK UGET and KCET. Sign up free to see fees and placement data.

Eligibility

Passed Class 12 / 2nd PUC with Physics and Mathematics plus Chemistry or an allowed optional subject, with the minimum marks set by the university, and a valid JET, JEE Main, COMEDK UGET or KCET result.

Most B.Tech seats are filled through JET (Jain Entrance Test) and university counselling, with seats also through JEE Main, COMEDK UGET and KCET.
