Overview

Dayananda Sagar University (DSU) was established in 2014 as a private university by the Mahatma Gandhi Vidya Peetha Trust, which also runs Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering (DSCE). The two are separate institutions: DSU’s engineering school is on a 130-acre campus at Devarakaggalahalli, Harohalli, on Kanakapura Road (Ramanagara district), while DSCE is in Kumaraswamy Layout.

DSU awards its own degrees, is not affiliated to VTU, and holds an A+ grade from NAAC. It offers B.Tech in a wide range of branches, plus M.Tech, MBA and other programmes, with hostels on campus.
