Overview

St. Thomas’ College of Engineering & Technology (STCET) was established in 2000 at 4 Diamond Harbour Road, Kidderpore, in central-south Kolkata near the port area and close to Khidirpur and Alipore. It is run by the Calcutta Diocesan Educational Trust and is one of the few engineering colleges located inside the old city rather than on the suburban fringe, so it suits students who want to commute from home.

STCET is a private college affiliated to MAKAUT and approved by AICTE, with MAKAUT affiliation dating back to 2001–02.
