Overview

The Institute of Aeronautical Engineering (IARE) was established in 2000 and is located at Dundigal in Medchal-Malkajgiri district, on the northern outskirts of Hyderabad. Despite its name, it is a multi-branch engineering college, and it shares the Dundigal education belt with several other institutes, a short drive from Gandimaisamma and the Bachupally–Kukatpally residential areas of the metro region.

IARE is a private college affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH) with UGC autonomous status (current term to 2026–27). NAAC awarded it an A++ grade in its second cycle in December 2023, and seven B.Tech programmes are NBA accredited. In NIRF 2025 it is placed in the Engineering 151–200 band. B.Tech branches are Aeronautical, CSE, CSE (AI & ML), CSE (Data Science), CSE (Cyber Security), IT, ECE, EEE, Mechanical and Civil; M.Tech, MBA and Ph.D. programmes are also offered, with separate hostels for boys and girls.

B.Tech seats are filled through TG EAPCET in TG EAPCET convenor counselling, with the remaining seats offered as management (Category-B) seats under Telangana rules; diploma holders can enter the second year through TG ECET. Eligibility

Pass in Intermediate / Class 12 with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry and a valid TG EAPCET rank for convenor seats; Category-B seats follow Telangana government eligibility rules.

Admission process

Category-A B.Tech seats are allotted through TG EAPCET convenor counselling and Category-B (management) seats are filled by the college under Telangana rules; lateral entry is via TG ECET.
