Overview

Vardhaman College of Engineering was established in 1999 and is located at Kacharam near Shamshabad in Ranga Reddy district, on Hyderabad’s southern edge. The campus is close to the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport area, and it serves day scholars from the southern suburbs of the metro region as well as students from other districts who stay in the college hostels.

Vardhaman is a private college affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH), autonomous since 2014, with UGC autonomy now valid to 2030–31. NAAC has accredited it with an A++ grade, and its programmes hold NBA (Tier-I) accreditation. In NIRF 2025 it is placed in the Engineering 151–200 band. B.Tech branches include CSE, CSE (AI & ML), CSE (Data Science), IT, ECE, EEE, Mechanical and Civil Engineering; an MBA is also offered, and hostels are available on campus.

B.Tech seats are filled through TG EAPCET in TG EAPCET convenor counselling (college code VMEG), with the remaining seats offered as management (Category-B) seats under Telangana rules; diploma holders can enter the second year through TG ECET.
