GGSIPU – University School of Automation & Robotics (USAR), Delhi

Overview

The University School of Automation & Robotics (USAR) was started in 2021 by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University at its East Delhi Campus in Surajmal Vihar, Shahdara. The campus also houses the university’s schools of design, mass communication and architecture, giving East Delhi students a university-run engineering option close to home, with programmes built around automation, artificial intelligence and connected industry.

USAR is a university school of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), a state university of the Delhi Government; GGSIPU as a whole is placed in the 101–150 band of the NIRF 2025 Engineering ranking. It offers four-year B.Tech programmes in Artificial Intelligence & Data Science, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Automation & Robotics, and Industrial Internet of Things, along with five-year B.Tech–M.Tech dual-degree options in the same areas.
