Overview

ACS College of Engineering (ACSCE), listed by COMEDK as Dr. ACS College of Engineering, was established in 2009 by the Moogambigai Charitable and Educational Trust, founded by Dr. A.C. Shanmugam. The campus is at Kambipura, off Mysore Road in Kengeri Hobli, south-west Bangalore, a short distance beyond Kengeri and within reach of the Mysore Road metro line and the NICE Road junction.

ACSCE is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), approved by AICTE and accredited by NAAC with an A grade. NBA accreditation covers its CSE, Aeronautical, Aerospace, ECE and Bio-Medical programmes. B.E. branches include Computer Science and its Data Science, Cyber Security and IoT tracks, AI & Machine Learning, Electronics & Communication, Aeronautical, Aerospace, Bio-Medical and Mechanical Engineering, with M.Tech, MBA, MCA and research programmes. Boys’ and girls’ hostels are available.

Eligibility

Passed 2nd PUC / Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects plus Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Computer Science or Electronics, with at least 45% in these subjects (40% for eligible reserved categories), and a valid KCET or COMEDK UGET rank as applicable.

Admission process

Government-quota seats through KCET counselling (KEA, code E186) and COMEDK-quota seats through COMEDK counselling (code E003). Management-quota seats are handled by the college.
