Overview
Global Academy of Technology (GAT) was established in 2001 by the National Education Foundation. Its campus of about 10 acres is at Aditya Layout, Rajarajeshwari Nagar, in south-west Bangalore.
GAT is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) and is reported to have been autonomous since 2020. It is approved by AICTE and holds an A grade from NAAC. Along with the usual computer science and electronics branches, it offers less common options such as Aeronautical Engineering, plus M.Tech, M.Sc and MBA programmes. Hostels are available.
