Overview

APS College of Engineering (APSCE) was established in 1997 by the Acharya Patha Shala (A P S) Educational Trust, Bengaluru. The campus is at Somanahalli on NH-209 (Kanakapura Road), on the southern outskirts of Bangalore beyond Talaghattapura. The setting is semi-rural and green, which suits students who want a campus away from city congestion while still being reachable from Banashankari, J.P. Nagar and Kanakapura Road.

APSCE is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi, approved by AICTE and NAAC-accredited. B.E. branches include Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, CSE (Cyber Security), Information Science, Electronics & Communication, Electronics & Computer Engineering, Civil and Mechanical Engineering. The college also offers MBA and MCA, and has boys’ and girls’ hostels inside the campus.

Admission is through KCET for government-quota seats and COMEDK UGET for COMEDK seats, plus management quota. Eligibility

Passed 2nd PUC / Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects plus Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Computer Science or Electronics, with at least 45% in these subjects (40% for eligible reserved categories), and a valid KCET or COMEDK UGET rank as applicable.

Admission process

Government-quota seats through KCET counselling (KEA) and COMEDK-quota seats through COMEDK counselling (code E011). Management-quota seats are handled by the college.
