Overview
Vivekananda Institute of Technology (VKIT) was founded in 1997 by the Janatha Education Society. Its campus is at Gudimavu near Kumbalagodu, on the Bangalore–Mysore highway beyond Kengeri, in south-west Bangalore.
VKIT is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) and approved by AICTE. B.E. branches are Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Information Science, Electronics & Communication, Mechanical and Civil Engineering. The campus has hostels for men and women, sports grounds and an indoor games complex.

Passed 2nd PUC / Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects plus Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Computer Science or Electronics, with at least 45% in these subjects (40% for eligible reserved categories), and a valid KCET or COMEDK UGET rank as applicable.
Admission process
