Overview
Indian Institute of Information Technology Nagpur (IIIT Nagpur) was established in 2016 under the public-private partnership model, with the central government, the Maharashtra government and industry partners as stakeholders. Its permanent campus is at Waranga, off the Nagpur–Wardha road near the Butibori industrial area on the southern edge of Nagpur.
IIIT Nagpur is an Institute of National Importance under the IIIT (PPP) Act. B.Tech programmes are in computer science, CSE with specialisations such as AI and machine learning, and electronics and communication engineering. Hostels are provided for undergraduate students.
