Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi (IIIT-Delhi) was established in 2008 under an Act of the Delhi Government. Its compact modern campus is in Okhla Industrial Estate Phase III, South Delhi, close to Govind Puri. The institute concentrates on computing, electronics and interdisciplinary programmes that pair computer science with other subjects, and it is known for a research-driven teaching culture.

IIIT-Delhi is a State university (degree-awarding) and is ranked No. 63 in the NIRF 2025 Engineering ranking. B.Tech programmes cover Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication, Electronics & VLSI Engineering, and Computer Science combined with Applied Mathematics, Artificial Intelligence, Biosciences, Design, Economics or Social Sciences. The institute also offers M.Tech and PhD programmes, and on-campus hostel accommodation is available.

B.Tech admission is through JEE Main, with seats allotted in JAC Delhi counselling.
