Overview

Indian Institute of Information Technology Bhopal (IIIT Bhopal) was established in 2017 under the public-private partnership model, with the central government, the Madhya Pradesh government and industry partners as stakeholders. It is mentored by MANIT Bhopal and has operated from the MANIT campus while its own campus is developed.

IIIT Bhopal is an Institute of National Importance under the IIIT (PPP) Act. B.Tech programmes include computer science, information technology, and electronics and communication engineering. Hostel arrangements are made for undergraduate students.

Eligibility

Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics (plus Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology or a technical vocational subject) meeting the JoSAA 75% (65% for SC/ST/PwD) or top-20-percentile criterion, and a valid JEE Main rank.

Admission process

B.Tech seats are allotted through JoSAA counselling (and CSAB special rounds for vacant seats) on the all-India JEE Main rank; IIITs have no home-state quota.
