Overview

The Faculty of Technology (FoT) of the University of Delhi runs the university’s own B.Tech programmes from Maharishi Kanad Bhawan on DU’s North Campus, in the Delhi University area of North Delhi. The faculty gives students the chance to study engineering inside one of the country’s best-known central universities, with the wider North Campus academic and student life close at hand.

The University of Delhi is a Central university accredited NAAC A++. The Faculty of Technology offers B.Tech programmes in Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, and Electrical Engineering, run by three dedicated departments. The faculty is not separately listed in the NIRF 2025 Engineering ranking, and its B.Tech programmes are still young, with early batches yet to complete the full four-year course.

B.Tech admission is based on the JEE Main Common Rank List through the University of Delhi’s own B.Tech admission portal, not JAC Delhi or JoSAA. Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics meeting the University of Delhi's minimum marks, and a JEE Main Common Rank List (CRL) rank for the admission year.
