City Engineering College (CEC) was established in 2001 and is located at Doddakallasandra, just off Kanakapura Main Road next to Gokulam Apartment in south Bangalore. The campus sits in a growing residential stretch near Konanakunte. It is a convenient choice for students living in Banashankari, J.P. Nagar, Uttarahalli and the Kanakapura Road suburbs who want to commute from home.

CEC is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi, approved by AICTE and accredited by NAAC with a B+ grade.
