Overview

AISSMS College of Engineering was established in 1992 by the All India Shri Shivaji Memorial Society on Kennedy Road in the Shivajinagar area of central Pune. Its compact city campus is a short distance from Pune railway station and the Shivajinagar transport hub, which makes it one of the most centrally located engineering colleges in the city and easy to reach from most neighbourhoods.

The college is a private autonomous college affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU), runs AICTE-approved programmes and is accredited by NAAC with an ‘A+’ grade. B.E. branches include Computer, Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Electronics & Telecommunication, Chemical, Robotics & Automation and AI & Data Science, and the college has also run a sandwich-pattern Production Engineering programme. M.E. and research programmes are offered, and boys’ and girls’ hostel accommodation is provided.

First-year admission is on MHT CET merit through the State CET Cell’s CAP rounds, with All-India seats also open to JEE Main candidates. Class 12 (HSC) with Physics and Mathematics plus Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Computer Science or a technical vocational subject, meeting the Maharashtra CET Cell minimum aggregate, and a valid MHT CET (PCM) or JEE Main Paper 1 score.

First-year seats are allotted through the Maharashtra State CET Cell's centralised admission process (CAP) on MHT CET merit, with All-India seats also on JEE Main; institute-level seats follow CET Cell rules.
