Overview

Sharda University, Greater Noida was established in 2009 under a Uttar Pradesh state act by the Sharda Group of Institutions, growing into one of the larger private universities in the Delhi-NCR region. The university operates a large integrated campus in Greater Noida offering engineering, medicine, management, law, pharmacy and a wide range of other programmes to a substantial international and domestic student body.

The university is UGC-recognised and its engineering programmes are AICTE-approved, offering B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication, Mechanical, Civil and Biotechnology Engineering, including newer specializations in emerging technology areas. Sharda has built a notably large international student presence relative to other Delhi-NCR private universities and maintains NBA accreditation for several of its engineering programmes.

Admission to B.Tech programmes is through JEE Main scores or the university’s own entrance test, followed by counselling.
