Galgotias University, Greater Noida was established in 2011 under a Uttar Pradesh state act by the Galgotias Group of Institutions, which had earlier run separate engineering colleges in the region before consolidating into a full university. The university offers engineering, management, law, pharmacy, media and other programmes from its Greater Noida campus.
