Overview

Vivekananda Global University (VGU), Jaipur was established in 2012 under a Rajasthan state legislative act as a private university, growing out of an earlier college established by the Jaipur National Institute of Medical Science Society trust. Based in Jaipur, VGU offers engineering, management, pharmacy, law, agriculture and computer applications programmes from a single integrated campus.

The university is UGC-recognised and its engineering programmes are AICTE-approved, offering B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication, Mechanical and Civil Engineering. VGU has grown its multi-disciplinary offerings substantially since founding and has built placement partnerships across the IT services and manufacturing sectors that recruit from Jaipur’s private university cluster.

Admission to B.Tech programmes is through JEE Main scores or the university’s own entrance test, followed by counselling.
