Overview

Loyola-ICAM College of Engineering and Technology (LICET) was founded by the Jesuits in 2010 and stands on the Loyola College campus at Nungambakkam, right in the heart of Chennai. Its central location puts it within easy reach of Egmore, T. Nagar and Anna Salai by bus, suburban train and metro, which suits day scholars from across the city. The college was set up as a partnership between the Jesuit order and ICAM, a group of engineering schools in France.

LICET is an autonomous college affiliated to Anna University, having received autonomous status in 2024, and is approved by AICTE with NBA-accredited programmes. It is a Christian minority institution and is not listed in the NIRF 2025 Engineering rankings. B.E./B.Tech branches are Computer Science, Electronics and Communication, Electrical and Electronics, Mechanical, Information Technology, and AI and Data Science, with staff and student exchange links to ICAM.
