Overview

Ramrao Adik Institute of Technology (RAIT) was established in 1983 and is located on the D. Y. Patil University campus in Sector 7, Nerul, Navi Mumbai. It is one of the older engineering institutes in Navi Mumbai and occupies part of the larger university campus in Nerul, which also houses other D. Y. Patil institutions. Since 2020-21 the institute has functioned under D. Y. Patil Deemed to be University, Navi Mumbai, and it runs a wide set of engineering and computing programmes.

RAIT is a constituent institute of D. Y. Patil Deemed to be University, Navi Mumbai, and its B.Tech degrees are awarded by the university; several of its engineering departments are NBA accredited. B.Tech branches include Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics & Computer Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication, Electrical & Instrumentation, AI & Data Science, Computer Science & Business Systems and Computer Science & Engineering specialisations in AI-ML and Cyber Security. It also offers master’s programmes and PhD research.

B.Tech admission is conducted by D. Y. Patil Deemed to be University, which considers MHT CET, JEE Main, SAT or its own DYPRAIT-ET scores, with Class 12 PCM as the base qualification.
