Overview

Guru Tegh Bahadur Institute of Technology (GTBIT) is a private engineering college in Rajouri Garden, west Delhi, established in 1999. The campus is in the G-8 area of Rajouri Garden, a busy commercial and residential neighbourhood served by the Blue and Pink metro lines. The institute was founded by the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) and serves as one of the capital’s Sikh minority engineering institutions.

GTBIT is affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) and approved by AICTE. It offers B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering, CSE (AI & Machine Learning), CSE (Data Science), Information Technology, Electronics & Communication and Electrical & Electronics Engineering, along with lateral-entry admission to the second year. First-year teaching is handled by a dedicated Applied Sciences department.

B.Tech admission is through JEE Main via GGSIPU online counselling. As a minority institution, a large share of seats is reserved for Sikh candidates, so eligible applicants should claim the minority category correctly while registering.
