Overview
AMC Engineering College (AMCEC) was established in 1999 and is run by the Paramahamsa Foundation Trust as part of the AMC group of institutions. The campus is at Kalkere, at the 18th kilometre on Bannerghatta Main Road in south Bangalore, on the way towards Bannerghatta National Park. Its location away from the city centre gives it a quieter setting while staying reachable from JP Nagar and Electronic City.
AMCEC is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi, approved by AICTE and accredited by NAAC, with NBA accreditation for its UG courses. B.E. branches include Computer Science & Engineering, CSE (AI & Machine Learning), CSE (Data Science), Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Information Science, Electronics & Communication, Electrical & Electronics, Mechanical, Civil and Aeronautical Engineering. Postgraduate options include M.Tech, MCA, MBA and PhD programmes, and separate hostels are available for boys and girls.

Passed 2nd PUC / Class 12 with Physics, Mathematics and English plus Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Computer Science or Electronics, with at least 45% in the qualifying subjects (40% for eligible reserved categories), and a valid KCET or COMEDK UGET rank as applicable.
