Sai Vidya Institute of Technology (SVIT) was established in the year 2008 by the Sri Sai Vidya Vikas Shikshana Samithi. Its campus is at Rajanukunte on Doddaballapur Road, via Yelahanka, in north Bangalore, close to the Rajanukunte railway station. The quieter setting beyond Yelahanka gives the college a self-contained campus feel, while the Yelahanka and airport-side areas remain within easy reach.

SVIT is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi, and approved by AICTE, with a NAAC A grade and NBA accreditation for Electronics & Communication, Computer Science and Information Science. B.E. branches include Computer Science & Engineering and its specialisations in AI & Machine Learning, Data Science and Cyber Security, Computer Science & Business Systems, Information Science, Electronics & Communication, Mechanical and Civil Engineering. The college also offers an MBA, and separate hostels are available for boys and girls.

Admission is through KCET and COMEDK UGET, plus management quota. The NAAC A grade and NBA-accredited computing and electronics programmes make it worth shortlisting in north Bangalore. Eligibility

Passed 2nd PUC / Class 12 with Physics, Mathematics and English plus Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Computer Science or Electronics, with at least 45% in the qualifying subjects (40% for eligible reserved categories), and a valid KCET or COMEDK UGET rank as applicable.

Admission process

Government-quota seats are allotted through KCET counselling (KEA) and COMEDK-quota seats through COMEDK counselling. Management-quota seats are handled by the college.
