Overview
K.S. School of Engineering and Management (KSSEM) was established in 2010 and is part of the K.S. Group of Institutions run by the Kammavari Sangham, which also manages other colleges on Kanakapura Road. The campus is at Mallasandra, just off Kanakapura Road in south Bangalore. The college combines B.E. programmes with postgraduate courses in engineering and management on the same campus.
KSSEM is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi, and approved by AICTE. It is accredited by NAAC, and NBA has accredited its Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, Mechanical and Civil Engineering programmes. B.E. branches include Computer Science & Engineering, Artificial Intelligence & Data Science, Computer Science & Business Systems, Electronics & Communication, Mechanical and Civil Engineering. The college also offers an M.Tech in Structural Engineering and an MBA, and separate hostels for boys and girls are within walking distance.
Admission is through KCET and COMEDK UGET, plus management quota. Computing branches such as AI & Data Science fill faster, while core branches such as Civil and Mechanical usually stay open into later counselling rounds, so they can be a useful fallback. Eligibility
Passed 2nd PUC / Class 12 with Physics, Mathematics and English plus Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Computer Science or Electronics, with at least 45% in the qualifying subjects (40% for eligible reserved categories), and a valid KCET or COMEDK UGET rank as applicable.
Admission process
Government-quota seats are allotted through KCET counselling (KEA) and COMEDK-quota seats through COMEDK counselling. Management-quota seats are handled by the college.
