Overview

M.S. Engineering College (MSEC) was established in 2002 at Navarathna Agrahara, Sadahalli, just off the road to Kempegowda International Airport in north Bangalore. Run by the M.S. Educational Trust, the campus sits in the Devanahalli growth corridor, close to the aerospace park and the airport city, and is reached from the city via Bellary Road and the airport expressway.

MSEC is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), approved by AICTE and accredited by NAAC with a B++ grade. B.E. branches include Computer Science, CSE (Cyber Security), CSE (Data Science), Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Information Science, Electronics & Communication, Mechanical and Civil Engineering. It also offers M.Tech programmes and Ph.D. research, and has separate hostels for boys and girls.

Eligibility

Passed 2nd PUC / Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects plus Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Computer Science or Electronics, with at least 45% in these subjects (40% for eligible reserved categories), and a valid KCET or COMEDK UGET rank as applicable.

Admission process

Government-quota seats through KCET counselling (KEA, code E127) and COMEDK-quota seats through COMEDK counselling (code E076). Management-quota seats are handled by the college.
