Overview

Sri Revana Siddeshwara Institute of Technology (SRSIT) is a private engineering college at Chokkanahalli, near Chikkajala, on the International Airport Road in north Bangalore. The campus sits on the fast-growing Yelahanka–Devanahalli corridor, about ten kilometres short of Kempegowda International Airport, and offers a quieter, semi-rural setting while remaining connected to the city by the airport highway and the college’s own bus service to several parts of Bangalore.

SRSIT is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) and approved by AICTE. It runs a compact set of four-year B.E. programmes in Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, Mechanical and Civil Engineering, and also offers an MBA. The campus has separate hostels for boys and girls with mess facilities, a health centre, a library, workshops and a sports ground, along with a placement cell that organises campus drives.

B.E. admission is through KCET counselling conducted by KEA, plus management quota seats handled by the college. Passed 2nd PUC / Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects plus Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Computer Science or Electronics, with at least 45% in these subjects (40% for eligible reserved categories), and a valid KCET rank for government-quota seats.

Government-quota B.E. seats are allotted through KCET counselling (KEA). Management-quota seats are handled directly by the college.
