Overview
R.R. Institute of Technology (RRIT) was established in 2008 as part of the R R Institutions group. The campus is at Raja Reddy Layout on Hesaraghatta Main Road in Chikkabanavara, on the north-western edge of Bangalore beyond Jalahalli and Bagalagunte. The area is quieter than the city core but is linked by road and suburban rail to Yeshwanthpur, making it accessible for students from north-west Bangalore and Tumkur Road.
RRIT is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi, approved by AICTE and accredited by NAAC with an A+ grade; its Computer Science, Information Science and Civil programmes hold NBA accreditation. B.E. branches include Computer Science, AI & Machine Learning, CSE (IoT & Cyber Security with Blockchain), Information Science, Electronics & Communication, Electrical & Electronics, Civil and Mechanical Engineering. Ph.D. programmes and separate hostels for boys and girls are available.

Passed 2nd PUC / Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects plus Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Computer Science or Electronics, with at least 45% in these subjects (40% for eligible reserved categories), and a valid KCET or COMEDK UGET rank as applicable.
Admission process
