<p>Tamil Nadu Open University (TNOU) was established in 2002 at Chennai as Tamil Nadu’s state open university, set up to extend flexible higher education access to students across the state through distance and open learning.</p><p>TNOU is a State Open University recognized by the UGC’s Distance Education Bureau (UGC-DEB).
