MCA (Master of Computer Applications)

Overview

The Master of Computer Applications (MCA) is a two-year postgraduate degree covering programming, data structures, databases, software engineering, networks, cloud computing and data science. It is a common route into software development for graduates from BCA, B.Sc. or other backgrounds with mathematics.

Admission to MCA at the National Institutes of Technology is through NIMCET; universities use CUET-PG, state tests or their own entrance exams. Graduates work as software developers, data analysts, system engineers and IT consultants.
