Overview

The BS-MS dual degree (typically five years) and the four-year BS or Bachelor of Science (Research) are research-oriented undergraduate science programmes offered by institutes such as the IISERs, NISER and IISc. Students take broad foundation courses across physics, chemistry, biology and mathematics before specialising, with a research project in the final year.
