Overview

TKM College of Engineering, Kollam was established in 1958 by the Thangal Kunju Musaliar Trust and ranks among Kerala’s oldest and most well-regarded private engineering colleges. Located in Kollam, the college has built a strong regional reputation over more than six decades and is often mentioned alongside a handful of legacy institutions that shaped Kerala’s early engineering education landscape.

The college is affiliated with APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University (KTU) and approved by AICTE, offering B.Tech programmes in Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, Mechanical, Civil, Electrical and Chemical Engineering along with postgraduate programmes. TKM holds NBA accreditation for multiple branches and has a long-standing record of placements with both Kerala-based and national employers.

Admission to B.Tech programmes is through the Kerala Engineering Entrance Examination (KEAM) followed by state counselling, with a share of seats available under the management quota.
