Tamil Nadu Dr. J. Jayalalithaa Fisheries University (TNJFU), established in 2012 and headquartered in Nagapattinam, is Tamil Nadu’s dedicated state university for fisheries science, formed to consolidate the state’s fisheries colleges and research stations under one umbrella.
