Overview
Established in 1995 and named after the celebrated filmmaker Satyajit Ray, SRFTI Kolkata is an autonomous institute under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, offering advanced training in filmmaking.
SRFTI offers diploma programmes in direction & screenplay writing, cinematography, editing and sound recording & design, on par with FTII in curriculum and stature.
