Overview
Presidency University was established in 2015 as a private university under a Karnataka state act, by the Presidency Group of institutions. Its 67-acre campus is at Itgalpura, Rajanakunte, off Yelahanka in north Bangalore.
As a university, Presidency awards its own degrees and is not affiliated to VTU. It holds an A grade from NAAC and was placed in the 201–300 band of the NIRF 2025 Engineering rankings. The School of Engineering offers B.Tech and M.Tech, alongside management, computer applications, law and other schools. Hostels are available.
