<p>Netaji Subhas Open University (NSOU) was established in 1997 at Kolkata as West Bengal’s state open university, created to extend higher education access to students across the state through distance and open learning.</p><p>NSOU is a State Open University recognized by the UGC’s Distance Education Bureau (UGC-DEB).
