Overview

The National Institute of Homoeopathy (NIH), Kolkata was established in 1975 by the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, and is one of the foremost centres for homoeopathic education, research and clinical practice in the country, located at Salt Lake, Kolkata.

NIH is an autonomous institute under the Ministry of AYUSH, and its BHMS and postgraduate programmes are recognized by the National Commission for Homoeopathy (NCH). It runs a large multi-specialty homoeopathic hospital, an outpatient and inpatient facility, and dedicated departments for materia medica, repertory and organon of medicine.

Admission to the BHMS programme is through NEET-UG followed by counselling conducted by the Ministry of AYUSH’s central admissions process, while postgraduate admission follows AIAPGET. Sign up free to see fees by quota, closing ranks and placement data.
