Overview

Established in 1961, the National Institute of Design (NID), Ahmedabad is India’s premier design institute, offering the four-year Bachelor of Design (B.Des) programme across disciplines such as product design, communication design, textile design and animation, along with postgraduate design programmes.

NID Ahmedabad is an Institute of National Importance under the National Institute of Design Act, 2014, and is empowered to award its own degrees.
